This seems to fit the bill for today. A place physically filled with vertical stones, each of them an old memory.

An old walled graveyard. We're looking over the stone wall, visible in soft focus across the bottom of the photo, and can see a range of monumental stones of different sizes and shapes arranged on a frosty lawn. In the outer wall is a small hexagonal stone hut with a green door. Beyond the wall on the left is a large, round, bare tree, and in the distance is a snow topped mountain.
